Source verification
Each model record links to an official provider source and shows its review date. We distinguish deprecation from an explicitly announced shutdown and do not invent missing dates. Monitoring is currently manual. See our methodology and source directory.
Email consent
When enabled, email signup requires selecting models, checking an unchecked consent box, and confirming an emailed link. Reminder emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops reminders; it does not automatically delete the subscription record.
Data handling
Browser watchlists stay on your device. The optional reminder service stores an email address, selected models, subscription status, confirmation information, and delivery records. Hosting and email vendors process data needed to operate those features. There is no application advertising or behavioral analytics. See privacy details.
Accessibility
The site includes a skip link, labeled navigation, keyboard-operable FAQ controls, form labels, and reduced-motion styles. These are implemented features, not a claim of a formal accessibility certification.
Independent beta
ModelSunset is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. It has no uptime or delivery SLA and makes no claim of SOC 2, ISO certification, or a completed regulatory compliance audit. Check official announcements before changing production systems.
