What a date means
A confirmed shutdown is different from a deprecation announcement, an earliest possible retirement date, or a model becoming legacy. We only create calendar events for explicit shutdown dates. Unknown dates remain unknown.
Scope and freshness
This beta tracks a selected set of direct API models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. It is not exhaustive and does not establish availability on reseller clouds or consumer applications. Sources were manually checked on September 29, 2026. Source monitoring is not yet automatic.
Replacement guidance
Replacement IDs reflect the source at review time. Check current access, pricing, features, and compatibility before switching. Our migration checklist is editorial guidance; it is not provider certification.
Updates and corrections
Records are reviewed and changed in the project repository before publishing. AI suggestions alone never establish a shutdown date. Review the official source before making production changes.
